The achievement of a standing position in an independent, effective, economic and safe way is a fundamental requirement for many people with disabilities resulting from damages of the central or peripheral nervous system. It is also a primary objective of the rehabilitative intervention. Orthoses and assistive products play a fundamental role in this field.
