Abstract:
The appropriateness of an assistive solution can be estimated on the basis of its effectiveness in answering to the objectives for which it has been chosen, of its usefullness or significance for the quality of life of the customer, of its efficiency in relation to the economic investment. After describing the fundamentals of assistive technology outcome analysis - based on the ICF paradigm (International Classification of the Disability, the Operation and the Health), the lecture presents three validated outcome instruments: the QUEST, the PIADS and the IPPA.
