The Orthopedic Workshop Maria Adelaide was born in the 50s as an orthopedic workshop of the orthopedic surgical hospital Regina Maria Adelaide in Turin. At the beginning he dedicated himself mainly to the construction of braces for poliomyelitis patients , in the 70s he introduced in Italy new products in the field of prosthetics and the construction of braces for American scoliosis (milwaukee brace ) and French (Lyon) in the 80s.
