Abstract:
The lecture illustrates informatic access Assistive Devices and Softwares and their configurability. The concepts of interfaces, scansion, vocal sinthetizer, voice recognition are deepen. An overview is made of the Assistive Technologies and the facilitations they can introduce. The lecture goes through slight facilitations easily available to more complex assistive technologies useful when limitations are more severe. For PC input (text insetion and mouse pointer control) alternative keyboards and mouse emulator are available, when motor limitations are more severe scansion and sensore can be useful. Some examples of cases are then described.
