Abstract:
Summary of the keynote lecture held in Milan on October 14, 2015 for the opening of the Academic Year 2015-16 of the Courses for Health Professionals at the State University of Milan. The lecture recalls the theme of 'EXPO 2015 "Feeding the planet, energy for life". It investigates how the kitchen environment and appopriate design of daily living tools can support the autonomy of the person with disability in activities related to nutrition, which is a primaru need for everybody.
