Abstract:
The lesson after introducing the concepts of computer aid and computer accessibility and presenting the main standards and regulations in this area, presents the overview of solutions for access to computers by people with disabilities, with particular attention to motor recommendations. The presentation then describes the possibilities for adapting standard input systems (mouse and keyboard) through, for example, audio software or systems that modify the response of these devices. Also described are the special gustere (for example the tasty enlarged, reduced, programmable, on-screen keyboard software, ...) and the alternative mice to the standard one (trackball, joystick, mouse controlled with the head, ...). Finally, the command sensors and alternative input devices for computers (for example voice control systems, eyepiece pointers, Brain Computer Interface systems) are discussed.
